Good Afternoon Club Members,

Pool & Spa Update:
The Board of Directors met with the pool and spa deck replacement contractor on Monday, April 8 to discuss options and determine a plan for completing this project. While the weather has been an issue, until recently, we are seeing dryer weather forecasts. Besides a requirement of extended dry, low humidity weather for the sealer, we also have been working with the contractor on a solution to the concrete color. Since the concrete curing process has not yet led to the desired color result, the contractor will be applying a color coat in advance of installing the protective sealer. The Association is working with the vendor to choose the color, while simultaneously monitoring the weather. The good news is that the sealer can be added the day after the color is applied. While we are glad to have a positive solution to gain resolution of this project, we still are not able to announce a pool and spa opening date. The Board and Management are not rushing this project, because we are looking at this process as part of a long-term solution for maintenance and life of the pool and spa decks.
We will provide further updates on these final project completion steps and will include an estimated pool opening at that time. We are looking at some time in May, but cannot commit to a date at this time.

Swim Lessons:
The Board of Directors agreed to a proposal offered by a local contractor and is currently in the process of finalizing the contract terms. The vendor’s schedule includes two-week sessions in June and July and we are expecting that the enrollment will open on May 1. The sessions will be in the afternoon and include multiple age groups. We apologize for the delayed registration date this year. The previous provider, River City Aquatics, closed their business after the last season.
