Dear NPMA Members,

This is an update to the message we sent last week regarding the pool and spa deck concrete surface. As we stated last week, the contractor is applying a slip reduction material to improve the traction to the pool and spa concrete. The contractor conducted a test of the Rhinogrip material and after review we do not believe it improved the surface enough to make it safe. The contractor is trying another slip reduction material this week and we will provide an update after we evaluate the effectiveness at the test area.

If the next surface test goes well, the contractor will apply the new material the week of May 27. We will provide an announcement of the opening date as soon as we determine the surface is safe for aquatic use.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience this causes for your aquatic exercise, therapy and recreational use.

Thank you,

Kyle Bodyfelt
General Manager
